If you got a problem, if you're feeling lonely

Try looking on the bright side, smurfing on the right side

Baby Hasia does not like these, Rachel?

Actually little butterfly angel baby Hasia does not. For some strange reason she prefers adult movies. We stopped getting cable before she was born because honestly a lot of the commercials are gross never mind the shows. but we have about one hundred dvd movies that we carefully selected. many are childrens but she likes drama, sans the violence. who knows why but twelve angry men is one of her favorites. ever after another. the only children's movies she likes is caillou and she has a two foot doll of him that speaks in french and english. also she loves all the franklin the turtle stories and some Arthur. nothing more. I tried Barney once and she stared at him for a moment and then refused to watch him any longer but went to play.
i THANK GOD FOR HIS MERCIES !!! :D

Where is a good therapist when you need one.
did any one see nine months or something like that and there is a scene where a guy dressed up in a suit(it was Barney only it wasn't called Barney) comes skate boarding along and gets beaten up.It wasn't funny really but I am starting to think dark thoughts so I'll just leave this thread before one of us is not around.

But, wasn't star blue Abdo? And wouldn't that make Starr Abdo? I just don't think that's possible. Starr likes attention too much to go incognito. :p

To his credit, though, Starr really was more of an old-fashioned libertarian than a disruptive anarchist. He made his impression through the content of his ideas, not the way he expressed them.

Oh thank you all for the sweets, they were a great start. Now that I am hepped up on sugar and cocoa I'm a thinkin I will mosey on down to Moos and have me six extra choclately shakes, then four litres of chocolate milk. Then I will crawl home and if I don't get mugged on the way I will sleep it off, all three hours I get each night and repent and not eat anything sweet for a month.(wink wink) And sadly at that point I'll be on line begging for all the chocolate I can get again. Normally I love savoury food not sweets but oh well.
oh no thanks to Pyrate Stan I be having a nonstop song in me head "we're the pyrates of the deep blue sea yo ho dee hydie ho. that's all I need, chocolate swirling madly through my blood stream and pyrate songs swirling through me brain. burp. oh pardon me, excuse me.

I swear to you on Emily's life that I did not put her up to the broccoli thing. I am as shocked as you. Check the time of my post. And I just finished reading your pm.This is so funny!
I have decided to give you all exactly what sort of pizza you want. in truth I do that once in a while, I can easily make twenty pizzas and think nothing of it. I grew up in the restaurant business, plus in my growing up years each summer my adopted brother Nelson and I when not accompanying the parents on long journeys, were shipped off either to Hassar, near Drumheller or to Montana to stay at the ranches of relatives or friends. The women had to be up before dawn cooking steaks, pan fries, fresh bread, pies etc etc for the hired hands, three times a day they did this. and kept the houses spotless and cared for the little ones. we children had to do a ton of work too so cooking twenty pizzas and cleaning up is no biggie.
bon appetite!!!!

Did you know some people in Australia put eggs and sea food on their pizza? Ugh! I can only imagine.

Pensive, I'm so sorry you're sick. I had chicken pox when I was about five years old. All I remember is an endless number of oatmeal baths and itching, itching, itching. I even had them in my throat, and I got so frustrated I would cry all the time. My mother says one day I was getting dressed in my room and I caught sight of myself in the mirror and just started screaming! I still have a pox scar under my right eye.

Pensive,
I just looked up the disease and it says that children and youth get better withing seven to ten days, adults longer.
It also says that you are infectious to others until all the blisters form scabs. If you are not exactly sure I would really see a doctor. It also says others can get the disease just by being in the same room with you, because infection comes from direct contact and air bourne droplets. Because there can be complications I would see a doctor to make sure your diagnosis is correct and you aren't suffering from something else viral that must be treated differently. I got them when I became adult and thought I was going to die. But I had no complications.

1. i possibly have a viral infection since I am not like that
2. I have just found myself and am extremely clever and witty.

I have to tell you all baby Hasia was rushed to hospital last night and had not a miracle or two happened we would have lost her.
we were at Safeway and she bent down and picked up a bottle. we grabbed it from her but it happened to be lamp fluid, fatal if swallowed. had a skull and crossbones on it. the bottle was cracked and got all over and she put her hand in her mouth. but none actually got into her mouth only around it. they said they would not have been able to save her otherwise. please check your grocery stores and if they too have such deadly stuff on the bottom shelves complain. please.
I will be gone for a week or so. must get down to business and make clay images of my characters for the children's stories, then use them for water color illustrations. i must finish final drafts and get them to publishers . no work, no money.
i will miss all you dear crazy children, bigger people, penguin lovers of the world.

Ooh! *drools* That sounds like heaven on a stick... or, in a marinade. If you post that one, I'll make it tomorrow and tell you how I like it!

I don't have any recipes, really. :( On the rare occasions that I make something other than a sandwich, it's usually just stir-fry or spaghetti, with jarred sauces. It's not that I'm a bad cook, just lazy. :p

Eh--I loved Bill Nye as a kid. He taught me a lot of stuff before the school system could and essentially molded my interest in science. Even when I watch him today, I still think that he's hysterical. I even have his computer game on CD-ROM.

I liked Bill Nye, but not as much as the other kids did. Perhaps for that reason; I've always had an innate aversion to fads. I was a Beakman devotee, myself. :D Although he visited my school a year ago, and he was very not funny. But he spent the night after his performance hanging out with the stoners, and one of my friends told me, "He's pretty awesome in person. I can't believe we smoked up Beakman!"

No, not Mr. Wizard. The show always started of with some penguins watching TV. There were 3 people in the show, a scientist, a girl, and a guy in a rat costume(which of course, in the show, actually is a rat). Then they explained a couple of science stuff and did experiments. Anyhow... point is... I always prefered that over Bill Nye. Hmm... I think I figured out what Nightshade's Avy is doing. It's eyeballs are popping out, and it's pupils are popping out of its eyeballs.

Hey Digital thats the show I was talking about!! I hated that one even more than Bill Nye. They said honey was Bees blood. That freaked me out..
Or was it Bees spit?

Hey Night,
well let's see. There is Nancy Drew, A series of unfortunate events, just for childish fun-you won't really have to concentrate. If you are going by air how about Fear of Flying. Oooh oooh no since you are a fabulous cook get a heavy copy of a receipe book-eight hundred ways to cook a chicken. You can get some nifty ideas and if the guy next to you gets fresh you can use it to knock some sense in to him. A time saver really. Have the best trip ever and bring us back something exotic.

I'm just answering this in case Rachel doesn't come back soon to see the question. She said she was taking a couple of weeks away to get the illustration work done for her book, but she popped in to check her messages.

EDIT: :D My apologies to Rachel, I just saw that you posted something this afternoon. That'll teach me to speak for someone else. Good to see you again.

Thank you
I missed you all so much I felt like screaming. Only I had a headache for days so that wouldn't help much would it.
I had no writers block so sailed along.the illustrations are taking longer though because I cannot make up my mind what effect I want, ethereal in water colors, a da Vinci treatment or something bold. Oh well it will come to me.
Well if everything goes okay I will post my pictures sunday. get that over with.
i need your advice though, should I post only a side view of baby hasia, kind of worried about posting her face. i mean one never knows right, I did say where I am from. and there is all of sixty people here. well okay fourty five thousand, but that amounts to only three high schools in New York!!
what are your thoughts. my daughter desi mocks me that I talk to you all and love you. she thinks you are all axe murderers and I should get some therapy. she's into her emily the strange , tatoos and piercings from here to there period. hangs with a group of kids that think parents should be euthanized. they don't bother me though, i always end up having them adopt me and then I can't get rid of them. some of her wierder friends hit on me but I have a set of rolling pins i can use like nunchuks so i'm good.

Cool--nunchaku are always interesting, but I prefer the three-sectioned staff.

Personally, I would shy away from posting pictures of myself or those close to me on the Internet. Then again, I'm relatively paranoid compared to most people and the LitNet Forums are safer than most of the Internet. It's up to you.
