I had a lucky charms mug when i was a kid. It was black but when you put a hot drink into it, the black cleared into an image of the leprechaun and his rainbow.

Yes and she rocks! I was very pleased with her grades. We've always pushed for all As which she is fully capable of and should always make, but I've decided that I would rather her be happy and have a fulfilling life with As and Bs instead of an all stressed out worried straight A student. I found myself saying things like '92%? that's cutting it pretty close isn't it?' or '98%? That's okay, I have one spot on my bed where I sleep and I do not move from that spot, but that's where my cat likes to sleep. When I try to move him he gets all offended and leave the bed, like he couldn't have any other spot. It must be MY spot.

ummm.. well I will supply a list of mishaps...
cell phones---
4 of them were either swimming with them in the pocket of my surfshorts, or falling in the ocean, or being pushed in by a friend.. lol
2 I lost.. and the last 1 I threw at a wall broke it in half, because it wasn't working very well and I was a little drunk and thought it would be funny.. it was not the best fix apparently...
Cameras
I dropped one off a 500 ft frozen waterfall while taking pictures of my bro and I ice climbing.. another I fell on and broke while bouldering (rock climbing on giant boulders without a rope) because I missed the crash pad on my landing and had set my camera right beside it... and the third got crushed in the bottom of my backpack...
Laptops
Two had liquid spills, once by a drunk friend... and once I knocked my own beer over on my laptop.. beer meets laptop meets irreparable damage... lol
the last one I had in my backpack while I was skateboarding to class and was goofing around trying to drop some stairs and bailed and it no longer worked...
IPODS..
crushed one skateboarding and one snowboarding lol...
yes I am hard on things I suppose lol :D

This saturday!:) I'm dressing up as a snowman because if I go to the Lush in the mall dressed that way, they'll give me free stuff:D:D But that day is already packed with stuff and probably lots of drinking (not during the day, but you know what I mean).
And I bet I could give you a good run for your money in the confusion department!

Yes, the drinking will not commence until much later than that!
Confusion indeed!!
If a desert were deserted how could one be sure that one is really in a desert or if such a place exists. And if it does not exist, does the person in said place exist? And if this non-existent place is not deserted than someone must live there and common courtesy dictates that said visitor should discalciate.

yes one should be polite and remove one's footwear of choice before entering a nonexistent desert of dessert eaters.. but if it does actually exist and said person has skin on the soles of their feet, barefoot may not be the best option for a lucid dream... as sand may be hot in the desert, especially at night when there is no sun to cool it down... sometimes it seems that existence and non-existence merge and create a nameless state between, which is where I seem to find myself, while thinking of eating imaginary dessert in a non-existent desert where camels walk on clouds and cacti grow out of the sky... it's raining sand and I feel the day doesn't want to draw on to an end.. So I shut my eyes and sing a lullaby, and the world blinks twice and I can no longer see... hmm
islandclimber
11-09-2008, 04:02 AM

Well, of course, once the world starts blinking, we must all watch out for the inevitable influx of camels. Perhaps we can trap them in the clouds, though that wouldn't be very nice for they'll get their humps prickled by cacti. Maybe instead we can offer them a nice glass of fruit punch and ask the sun to show them their way home. After all, no one really has fun when the sun is around, and it's difficult to talk about it because the sun has no back behind which we can snicker. It's not a big fan or your lullabies, anyways.
p.s. I love that you know what that word meant!!

It's a country song that goes something like this...
Now Honey, you can't blame her
For what her mama gave her
It ain't right to hate her
For workin' that money-maker
Band shuts down at two
But we're hangin' out till three
We hate to see her go
But love to watch her leave
With that honky tonk badonkadonk
Keepin' perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin' on
Like Donkey Kong
And whoo-wee
Shut my mouth, slap your grandma
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on
With that honky tonk badonkadonk

Yesterday to my immense and somewhat immediate surprise I found my way behind the back of the sun.. All it took was a large leap of illogical proportions and there I was sipping on a Mojito in the lurking light behind the back of the sun.. and a salamander tapped my toe with a dotted tail and asked me if I could be so kind as to share my drink... I have to say I was shocked that this salamander said "please"... it was definitely the first time I have met a polite salamander.. and I thought to myself, behind the sun is a good place to be.. until the herd of stampeding camels (from that inevitable influx ---strange how alliterations always are accompanied by mass numbers of camels--- caused by a blinking strobe light world) came running with cacti prickles in their humps, being guided by the long arm of the sun... all I can say is I spilled a tear or two for the rudely squashed salamander, but at least he had a couple sips of a mojito before he acquitted himself of his body.. nice young lad... certainly sensations are sensual at times, although lips disintegrate when they actually touch..
Ps. that is only the second time I have ever seen that word.. the first time I had to look it up lol.. it is such a strange word for the meaning it has lol... I love that you used it haha.. so funny..

Nice lad, indeed. Isn't it a shame when good manners go punished by the aggressive and completely unanticipated camel parade. If only the camels had been paying closer attention when the cactuses (who despise being incorrectly called cacti- silly me) were warning them about the waterfall of clouds carrying them closer and closer to penetration by their needles. The needles did have good intentions, though, as they were out to protect the camels from the syndrome being set on them by that sneaky and conniving sun. He's really not a very nice fellow, that sun. His great plan was to steal your mojito, give it to the camels, and POOF, they're suddenly humpless and speaking solely in alliterative pig latin. Certainly some sensations are sensual- or else I would suspect that the sun had some hand in it. He enjoys being cruel you know- that's why hearts break.
p.s. I learned it from the board game Balderdash and it just stuck with me! lol

the sun is inherently sadistic.. sometimes it spills uncertain centuries into the void and they float on by the earth without touching a single dream... the "cactuses" celebrated the passing of the camels into the stratosphere by singling out a single silhouette of a squashed salamander and throwing prickles at it.. only 1 stuck.. and the sun spilled insanity into the world and the first human being awoke... wearing silk and filled with cyanide.. it was certainly an ominous beginning, and the sun suggested that the beginning is generally the best time to make an ending.. the desert flipped back right side up as it had other plans.. I remained in my lawn chair, on my second mojito throwing darts at the back of the sun... dreaming about camels without humps, cursing me in pig latin, and sunburnt to the point of suicide by the sun.. it was with tears I finished number two...
PS. I love balderdash.. it is such random game

awwww.. it is so funny though.. that music video is just like WOW... and the lyrics.. okay I have said enough.. to be honest it is quite entertaining lol... whether that is good or bad in this case is questionable...
ohh.. I dislike sand beaches at times... you are so covered in sand after.. it can get really annoying lol.. I love pebble beaches on the other hand... so comfy to walk on and lie on the warm pebbles... and they don't get in your hair, and mouth, and toes, and fingers.. haha

It certainly was quite the lawn chair you were sitting in, because, if I recall correctly, it was more couch-sized and could pass through time and space as if they were indefinable qualities. Or were they quantities? I can't be expected to remember, of course, for I was scraping insanity off the floor and that terrible ball of flaming death we call the sun was insisting that I go through every grain of sand in the desert to ensure that all the insanity was collected. I stepped on all the prickles that missed the salamander, which was quite painful, as you floated along every which year and way on your enormous lawn chair. So I started running in trapezoids trying to escape, until I was picked up by a mojito river...whatever would I do?
p.s. yes, it's an excellent game

11-09-2008, 05:10 AM
As I am trying to float off into another reality, where eyes sometimes remain stitched shut for several variations of eternity.. I would suggest that you join me on this couch sized lawn chair, and avoid the prickles and drownings in mojito rivers... for passing through time and space reducing them to archaic terms is quite enjoyable, as insanity laps at the waves of a Cuba Libre sea... Now I pass into my own lucid dream...

Well, on mine, which is a Hewlett Packard, I hit a button which is titled [fn], basically means the second function of a key, if that makes any sense, and then I hit the Insert button, whose second function is "Screenshot." But then, I have to open up Paint, and type Ctrl+V, and that pastes it into paint.
Hope that helps. Your computer might have a different way of taking a screenshot.

youi need to beable to bottle friends, then you could carry your friedn around with you and nevre be bored. Friend in a bottle. Then I thought that sound too much like a drink, and what if you accidentl drink your friend? then you would have voicestalking form your belly as well as the voices in your head, and while it would be fun to begin with how confused would you be?

why do we always end up reading classics?
but if I can get you to ot for that simply because i gcan get hold of an 1854 edtion and I DONOT want to read Roth, this would be good

I voted for RR because well... i thought it was only fair to give Kilteds nomination my vote seeing as i made him read Persuasion! :brow:
But then i was reading up on my families history there and if my family did originally come from the MaGregor clan in Scotland (albeit we were long gone out of Scotland by this point) there would have been some family links to RR, which i thought was pretty awesome!
But i'm too lazy to go do the research which would involve probably a few trips to a parish in Fermanagh and the national archives. A lot of our records were distroyed during the civil war but the north has good records and so does Britain but...meh...!

I'm not sure what actually makes a bank holiday, but in the States it is Memorial Day. Where are you Nightshade?

England. Its a term mostly used in the Uk and ireland accorrding to britanica:
in the United Kingdom, any of several days designated as holidays by the Bank Holidays Act of 1871 and a supplementary act of 1875 for all the banks in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. Although these days are not statutory public holidays, their observance is no longer limited to banks.
Today is the Spring Bank holiday.

I've never ranked the last three, I just lump them into one "not the original' pile of steaming poo.
Seriously how do you go from the sleekness of Padme's ship to the millenium falcon.

Padme's ship was a transporter for a queen...the Millenium Falcon was a cargo transport.
The one thing that the first three is missing...Harrison Ford...
