'New' Sir Walter Scott novel published
EDINBURGH, Scotland, May 11, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- "Reliquiae Trotcosienses," a novel by Sir Walter Scott that surfaced in manuscript form seven years ago, is finally being published this week.
The book, published by Edinburgh University Press, was scrawled on 126 pages in the year before Scott's death in 1832. It was suppressed by Scott's associates as an inferior creation of a writer who had a series of strokes before he was commissioned by his publishers to write about his home at ...
