Virgil A. Forton of Mount Prospect for 62 years

Services for Virgil A. Forton, 87, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Monday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, and proceed to St. Thomas Becket Church for Mass at 10 a.m. The Rev. Edward Panek will officiate. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 11, at the funeral home. Born Sept. 18, 1920, in Michigan, he died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
