BEAVERTON, OR - Virgil M. Van Horn, age 92, formerly of Yakima, WA, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008 in Beaverton, Oregon. He was born on March 16, 1916 in Hoquiam, Washington.

Virgil moved to Yakima as a child, and graduated from Yakima High School. He married his wife, Eleanor, in Yakima in 1937. Virgil lived in Yakima most of his life until moving to the Portland area in 2004 because of Eleanor's illness. She preceded him in death in 2005. He was also preceded in death by his sister Blanche and his brother Loren.
