Cox Radio Announces Promotion of Virgil Thompson to Vice President-General Manager of KISS-FM and KSMG-FM, San Antonio.

Cox Radio announced today the promotion of Virgil Thompson to vice president and general manager of KISS-FM and KSMG-FM in San Antonio. Mr. Thompson had previously served as operations manager of KISS-FM and KSMG-FM as well as format coordinator for Cox Radio's rock format stations. He will now report to Ben Reed, regional vice president and market manager of Cox Radio's San Antonio cluster. The promotion is effective immediately.
