Virgil Jacobs big money winner at Tsuu T'ina

TSUU T'INA -- Tsuu T'ina Nation-Home town cowboy Virgil "Hoss" Jacobs came though in the clutch to win a whopping $1.367 plus change at the Bedford Littlelight Memorial Rodeo, in the steer wrestling event.

The rodeo is held in memory of Littlelight, who was a steer wrestler in his rodeo days back in the 1970s and a great promoter and supporter of Indian rodeos. The family and sponsors of the rodeo had an added purse of $1,000 in the steer wrestling, while the other events had a purse of $300 for the seniors and $150 for the junior events.
