LYNDON -- Virgil R. Potts Jr., 57, Lyndon, died Jan. 1, 1999, at a Kansas City, Mo., hospital.
Mr. Potts was a photographer for the Air Force for 23 years before he retired.
He was born Jan. 31, 1941, at Drumright, Okla., the son of Virgil R. Potts Sr. and Luewane Wheeler. He moved to Lyndon from Topeka 10 years ago. He was married to Toni Stringham on March 17, 1971, at Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Michael Potts and Virgil Potts, both at home; a daughter, Shannon Potts, at home; and a granddaughter. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the ...
