Camp Virgil Tate will be a busy place today as three cross country regional meets will take place there.

Because Cabell Midland was granted the state meet scheduled for Oct. 28, its region (Class AAA Region 4) had to be moved and will hold its boys and girls races with the traditional Class AAA Region 3 and Class AA-A Region 4 today at Virgil Tate.

Weather might be an issue as rain is in the forecast, but meet director and Capital coach Steve Brown is hoping for everything to run without a hitch. He said runners could expect "rain and mud" when they line up today.
