Murder is a remarkable self-esteem builder in the University of Southern Indiana Theatre's latest production.

It's also an athletic-enhancing steroid and potent love potion and the hefty down payment on a new lease on life for Christy Mahon, the title character in J.M. Synge's "The Playboy of the Western World."

And it's all blarney in this celebrated comedy of possibilities presented as a fresh face making a fresh start in a new setting.
