Doors Open tour gets steady flow of visitors

THE final numbers aren't yet in, but organizers of the 2006 Doors Open tour of heritage buildings are declaring this year's event a success.

Celine Kear, president of Heritage Winnipeg, said there was a steady stream of visitors to Winnipeg's most interesting and prominent historic buildings.

The addition of new attractions, including Ralph Connor House on Armstrong Point and a walking tour of the Exchange District film locations, added to the strength of the event, she said.
