What is your favourite book?
Down And Out In Paris And London by George Orwell. I first read it when I was about 17. I thought it was fantastic. I love the descriptive qualities and when I was younger I spent a fair bit of time in Paris and lived in London so it really caught my imagination.
What is your favourite film?
The Deer Hunter. It's very long and complex and I have never been quite sure about the ending. But just from the story point of view it's great. When I was at drama school I watched it a great deal because the performances were so good. I don't go to ...
