LEISURE chiefs hope a successful TV drama will encourage people to learn more about one of their town's most famous sons.
Walsall-born author Jerome K Jerome's story Three Men in a Boat was brought to life in a two-part BBC adaptation earlier this month, starring comedians Griff Rhys Jones, Rory McGrath and Dara O'Briain.
Coun Garry Perry, Walsall council cabinet member for leisure, now hopes the TV show will spur people on to visit the Jerome K Jerome museum in Bradford Street.
