A first edition of James Joyce's 1922 novel Ulysses has been classed as the most valuable work of fiction from the 20th century.
The first 100 copies of the 740-page first edition are valued at GBP100,000 each. In total there were 1,000 copies in the first edition of the book, but numbers 1-100 were printed on handmade paper and signed by the author.
A survey of dealers published by Book and Magazine Collector magazine ranked the book in first place.
