A love letter written by James Joyce to his lover Nora Barnacle is to be auctioned at Sotherby's, London.
The letter was found in a collection of personal items linked to the author which were inherited by his brother Stanislaus. The letter written on 1 December 1909 has never been seen in public before and scholars assumed it had been destroyed.
