An author relates his encounters with several writers belonging to the Bloomsbury group of individuals who espoused a philosophy unique to the 20th century. The encounters include the author's 1957 meeting with so-called 'philosopher's philosopher' G.E. Moore as well as a number of meetings with David and Angelica Garnett and his recollections of their differing viewpoints on a number of matters regarding Bloomsbury.
