You expect one body with two heads: There must, after all, be some explanation for the film industry's strange habit of identifying them by their conjoined, unhyphenated surnames, of referring to ``Howards End'' or ``The Remains of the Day'' as Merchant Ivory films in the same way that ``Raging Bull'' or ``GoodFellas'' are Martin Scorsese ones.
