The first Roxbury Open Studios happens today from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at five locations in and around Roxbury.

In the Piano Craft Building in lower Roxbury, see a group show by African-American artists featuring fabric, jewelry, illustrations, textiles and wearable art.

The parish hall of the First Church in Roxbury features work by seven members of the Boston African-American Artists Association, as well as work by 11 individual artists in photography, stained glass, painting, drawing, illustration, paper and collage.
