FOR MANY, Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" is a Christmas tradition-the quintessential holiday story. Despite the popularity of this classic ghost story and its unforgettable characters, not many people put ghosts and Christmas together, or spookiness and Scrooge. But tales of the supernatural like "A Christmas Carol" are actually a holiday tradition, says Steve Schroer, producing artistic director of the new Hardcover Theater in Minneapolis.
