"The Mystery of Charles Dickens," Simon Callow's impersonation of
the famous British novelist, will close Sunday after a Broadway run
of only 20 performances.
In the play, which opened April 25 at the Belasco Theatre, Callow portrayed not only Dickens but also characters from many of his novels including "The Pickwick Papers," "Oliver Twist," "Great Expectations, " "A Tale of Two Cities" and "David Copperfield."
