Warner Bros. said it will make the first live-action film version of the classic children's tale "Pinocchio" in an agreement with Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope and Jim Henson Productions.
The film will use characters and puppets created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop and a script written by Frank Galati under the direct supervision of Coppola.
Henson, the late founder of the company that bears his name, was the creator of the Muppets.
