An open-air production of Carlo Collodi's macabre comedy Pinocchio will be performed at Escot Park tonight.
Geppetto the carpenter carves a puppet called Pinocchio from a block of wood. But Pinocchio cunningly throws a tantrum and gets Geppetto jailed for cruelty.
Free to do what he likes, Pinocchio's adventures begin. This magical new production features a leading actor whose nose really does grow and a 25-foot shark. It is suitable for adults and brave children aged five and over.
