A selection of papers and bound volumes connected to the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge has been acquired by the British Library.
The collection, which reportedly belonged to the poet's extended family and was kept in the Devon village of Ottery St Mary, dates from the middle of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th.
The collection is comprised of 350 bound volumes and 29 archive boxes and it was secured by a donation of GBP250,000 from the National Heritage Memorial Fund, in conjunction with a number of other ...
