High school basketball road trips, like politics, sometimes make strange bedfellows.

Just ask arch rivals Booker T. Washington and Granby high schools.

Nine days after they squared off Jan. 5 in an Eastern District basketball matchup, the teams found themselves on the same bus and train headed to the same hotel in Baltimore for the third-annual Mayor's Basketball Academy.
