Booker T. Washington holds groundbreaking ceremony

A high school that was once the only institution available for "Negroes" in
South Florida will once again be the hub of education for post secondary
students.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held, last Wednesday to commemorate the
reopening and reconstruction of Booker T. Washington Senior High. Past
alumni and school board members were present at the historic event.

Booker T. Washington, home of the Tornadoes was founded in 1926 for Black
