The Alabama Department of Education's Board of Education adopted the following resolution:

WHEREAS, "No Need to Hate," a photograph by Jessica Farquhar, a senior at Booker T. Washington Magnet High School in the Montgomery County School System, is one of only 27 artworks and the only artwork by an Alabama student included in a national art exhibit at the U.S. Department of Education headquarters in Washington, D.C.; and

WHEREAS, "No Need to Hate" earned an Award of Excellence for Photography in the Senior Division, Grades 9-12, from the U.S. Department of Education and the National Parent ...
