`Rebuilding Together' Repairs 31 Homes In Booker T. Washington And
Washington Heights Communities

On April 28, 2001, Rebuilding Together--Atlanta (formerly known as
Christmas In April* Atlanta) repaired 31 homes of elderly and disabled
homeowners in the Booker T. Washington and Washington Heights Communities.
This is the second year that Rebuilding Together has revitalized housing in
those communities and the tenth anniversary of their founding in Atlanta.
Approximately 400 volunteers, wearing t-shirts designed by an elementary
