If you heard the rumor that Deputy Mayor Steve Campbell was related to
Booker T. Washington, it's only partially true.

Though the two sharp, intellectual men do favor, Campbell is in fact
preparing to portray the former slave turned educator in the Indianapolis
Arts Chorale's (IAC) presentation of the Deputy Mayor Tony Award winning
musical "Ragtime."

"Steve has the charisma and I think the personality and the smile that I
think is indicative of Booker T. Washington based on the things that I've
