The last born of the 16 great-grandchildren of Booker T. Washington, Sarah
O'Neal Rush, will publicly launch her business, Booker T. Washington
Empowerment Network (B.T.W.E.N.), during a business reception and
networking event in Oakland's Jack London Square, at Simone's Jazz & Soul
Cabaret, 380 West Embarcadero Plaza, on Wednesday, October 13, from 6 p.m.
to 10 p.m.

During this event Rush will introduce B.T.W.E.N., a company she created to
inspire hope, and to interrupt the current cycle of destruction that she
says is being "carried down from generation to generation ...
