BATH, ENGLAND-- An exhibition showcasing costumes from a number of television and film adaptations of the enduring works of Jane Austen, including the BBC's "Pride and Prejudice" and "Sense and Sensibility" (1995), starring Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson, opens Feb. 4 at the Museum of Costume in Bath, England.
"In the works of Jane Austen there is very little information about what the principal characters actually wore, making it quite difficult for costume designers to know just how to dress the stars of each of the films," said Rosemary Harden, acting curator of the museum.
