Correction

So, here's what we learned last week: Jane Austen wrote a book called "Pride and Prejudice." Charlotte Bronte later wrote the same book and called it "Jane Eyre." Having snoozed through class, we believed that Charlotte Bronte and Jane Austen were in fact the same person -- but it turns out they were not. So, contrary to what we reported in last week's "Arts and culture preview," Barter Theatre's new stage adaptation of "Jane Eyre," which opens Oct. 6, comes from a book by Charlotte, not Jane. Oh -- and neither of them wrote "Wuthering Heights." For tickets, call (276) 628-3991.
