A few days after her adventure, Harriet comes to Emma one morning with a
small parcel in her hand and a "confession" to make - now that it is all over.
She sees nothing extraordinary in him now, nor does she envy his wife; and she
is now going to destroy some "most precious treasures" (as the box is labeled)
