Dramatis Personae announces auditions for its forthcoming plays to be included in its 16th theatre season, namely: Aristophanes biting anti-war comedy Lysistrata; Bertolt Brechts Mother Courage and Her Children.

Lysistrata opens with the Peloponnesian War where the women of Athens and Sparta resolve to withhold sex from their husbands until peace is settled.

In Mother Courage and Her Children, a lone woman tries to achieve the irreconcilable aims of making money and keeping their family alive during the nightmare of the Thirty Years War.
