We popped into the American Repertory Theatre last week for "Lysistrata," Aristophanes' bawdy anti-war comedy adapted by outgoing artistic director Robert Brustein. We ran into Brustein in the lobby, and talked about how the show has been knocked in the press. "Bizarre," he said. "Word of mouth has been great."

The show features a catchy score by Galt McDermot, who wrote the music for "Hair." We rang up the 73-year-old composer to get his take on "Lysistrata."
