Oh I DID get a chuckle out of what silKyRed posted above, lol. I, too, dislike the art of culinary expression, to put it mildly. Though you will catch a decent meal out of me now and then, just don't let word get out.
Right now, at the keyboard sits a huge mug of my fave beverage -- Coffee with real Cream (none of this powdered schtuff). And, of course, a couple of Hershey Stix (chocolate sticks to die for).
Am I happy? Natch!

For some reason, whenever I see the word "semolina" I think, "salmonella"
Anyway, semolina pudding sounds good. I've never had it before, but rice pudding is good. And of course most things homemade are good.

Thanks for asking, I guess you will get to know me by my posts...I love this place! Once I can get a blog started, I'll rant and rave and make funny comments, and yes, you will indeed find out how crazy we Canadians are... lol! (well, some of us).

Something I can only call a "Kipferl" because the translator doesn't know how to call it because it's a German thing and the words I use are, apparently, not German.
I believe that the French call this pastry a Croissant, Themis. They are kind of a lighter bread roll or something? My hubby dips those in gravy, soup, actually anything that can be a dip, he uses...;)
I am sipping Jasmine Green Tea and eyeing a nice ripe pear over yonder (but if I partake, Pepper, my dog will come along and demand half...) :p

In a way it is a croissant but we differ between "Kipferl" and "croissant". The latter is the french's version is made of a different kind of dough (Puff pastry? It's called "Butterteig" in German.) while a "Kipferl" is made of short pastry.
A croissant looks like this:
http://xs114.xs.to/xs114/07161/croissant.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs114&d=07161&f=croissant.jpg)
Err ... and the only thing we dip it - the kipferl - in is coffee. Or cocoa.

Curse Aimus for that! The day he became Kind of the Mars, he kept on being cruel to the habitants over there by forcing Shakespeare on every school situated in Mars. Then, with their mysterious powers they threw him over and took back their own throne, but hatred they have for earth-lings now. Making chocolates, candies, of every man he they see on the Mars. It's said they took the idea of making human-chocolates from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! :p

Ummm well, he gave himself this title when he became the King and made the dwellers of Mars call him by that. Well, you see he thought he was bringing changes for good....he might have thought he deserved being called 'kind' for that but people of Mars don't like to be dominated....and called it pure cruelty...
