My humble appoligies, Fool. Even though I have no idea what were you talking about I did get that I'm way worse than something not very pleasant or rather boring.

imthefoolonthehill
05-29-2004, 01:34 AM
oh... poor blue jay way doesn't like the beatles, I think I will take that as a personal insult... in fact... i'm going to pretend that he just called my mother a nasty name.... I am going to pretend to hate you.....mark

Jay
06-04-2004, 12:59 PM
*wonders if it is even possible for Fool to cease confusing lil' ol' poor me :p........ guess not lol*

Ehm, Fool, you were saying? lol Got just the bit you might have suggested I don't like the beatles... *wonders if it was supposed to be the Beatles or just the insect thingies lol*... or even if the blue jay way thingy was about me anyways... Oh and in case it was about the Beatles, nope, not a fan lol.

See overly confused me paranoically marking and leaving... leaving... leaving... see ya later... :D

I missed not seeing this thread up here. jay, what is your avatar?

Isagel
06-07-2004, 07:28 AM
I have promised myself that I shall write at least two literature related and /or at least somewhat intelligent posts for every silly thing I write.

Now I think I have done enough to be allowed to mark.
Oh, that felt good.

Btw- here´s looking at you , fayefaye

I wonder how many intelligent/serious things I have to write in order to be allowed to use that emoticon agian? Probably innumerable.

Jay
06-07-2004, 05:57 PM
You can to write as many 'silly' posts as you want, Isagel :). If it all were about writing serious/intelligent things I guess the forum would be either 1) boring 2) not so frequented 3) empty 4) have I already said boring? ;)

Hey Faye, my avatar is right there :). Since some people already see me as Casper I wouldn't dare to remove it ;):p.

Isagel

Thank you, Jay.

So then, bring it on Simon. Your mark-fu is weak and can never beat my tiger-cranestance. Whooozaaaa -mark! (to much Kill Bill will do this to you)

Jay
06-08-2004, 06:58 AM
I'm game too, wait for meeeeee!!!
:) btw Isagel, your kitty is supposed to scare my mighty dragon? ;):p:D:D:D

Isagel
06-08-2004, 07:51 AM
Kittens can be sneaky ninjas if they want to.
Your so called "mighty dragon" is no match for my skills.
I´ll mark it just to show.

Jay
06-08-2004, 07:57 AM

simon
06-09-2004, 02:53 AM
Alright you weaklings be ready for the mightly marking of simon, who being avatarless only means that my lack of appearance is decieving and cunning in it's formless shape, I can take on amy form I want and mark unto oblivion.

Beware scraggly cat and meager dragon.

Jay
06-09-2004, 09:42 AM
HEY hey buddy, hands off of my dragon! :D Pray that Isagel doesn't notice the scraggly cat bit ;)

Btw, welcome back Stan :brow: :D

Jay
06-09-2004, 10:20 AM
Uhoh Simon, told you so ;). Hello kitty, how've you been?

Ooopsy, MARK! :p

Isagel
06-09-2004, 11:16 AM
Just fine, been missing you!

*produces a blackboard and starts to write the word mark, over and over again with the nails, making screeeeech noises until you all beg for mercy *

Does anyone else remember that sound from school? It makes me shiver.

Jay
06-09-2004, 02:25 PM
Missed you too, guess to be able to play marking game with Fool one has to be <cough>stoned</cough>. j/k Fool, don't go nailing me to a stake! :p

*wonders how would you be able to be screetching while you seem not to be able to stand the sounds as well... ah well, let's say you'd use one hand for producing the pleasant ;) noises while you'll cover your ears with the other two hands ;)*

*grabs that wet sponge thingy and writes MARK with it all over your doodlings :D*

simon
06-09-2004, 11:55 PM
You poor misguided markers. You can neither intimidate me nor win a battle of marksmanship. Isagel, though your claws be sharpened all I need do is occupy you with a ball of string and the marks are mine. Beware for I have the power to turn your milk sour.

Isagel
06-10-2004, 03:16 AM
Oh! Ball of string!
Well, we all have urges, you know.

Look, Simon - happy emoticons evrywhere - hunt them down! Go get that banana with cynism an bitterness. You know you want to.

simon
06-10-2004, 03:34 AM
Oh you evil devils, monstrous atrocities of the human species, I cannot resist the temptation of killing the banana. I shall make banana bread, banana pudding, banana smoothie, I shall mash and hash and slash till there are no more bananas left in the world and then I will find something else to mash and hash and slash. I have lost my marking ability, but when I have regained my powers of prowess and cunning I shall return and beat you black and blue with my words.

Isagel
06-10-2004, 05:46 AM
Narrators voice: "Isagel is now playing happily with her ball and string, in blissful ignorance of her surroundings and Simon lost is in rage. Both yield to the eros and thanatos urges of man and beasts. Delight and destruction mingled strips them from ambition in the marking game. The fight is now between Jay and Stanislaw.

Or will there be a new contender?"

And what happened to my milk?

Jay
06-10-2004, 10:53 AM
cont. ;)

"And the great dragon came, made its presence known by spitting fire all over the dungeon to great entertainment of all onlooking people who seemed to be cheering for no one in particular one time or keep changing their favorite warrior other times..."
:D

Isagel
06-11-2004, 05:22 PM
Still not black and blue.
And Stanislaw is nowhere in sight.
But that dragon looks a bit scary.

I´ll just do a very little mark down here. Perhaps it won´t notice. I´m a sneaky ninja.

Jay
06-12-2004, 03:01 PM
Lol :D. Sorry to disappoint you, the mark has been noticed :p. But you can always return and try to take it back ya know ;).
And don't worry, my dragon is nice to my friends, here, see for yourself... *I nod at the dragon and the creature lies down for Isagel the ninja tiger ;) to be able to stroke his nose...*

simon
06-18-2004, 03:59 AM
Dragon though you are green and stinking and scaly I have no fear of beating you and stealing your treasure, and as for cats, your black color has blended too much into the night and I fear that traffic has had trouble dodging your person, tomarrow you will awake to see another life gone to road kill, just how many lives do you have left? Percious few at this rate, hear my evil laughter and quake.

Jay
06-18-2004, 10:07 AM
That's it, dragon and cat are fighting side by side to beat a common enemy, the simon beast ;). Hold your body parts kitty, we're going to take a little flight... be afraid Simon *evil laughter* be very afraid *even more evil laughter* ;):D:D:D, it's about to rain cats...

Well, you can have your generation Simon, but I have this mark, say hi to your marky offspring ;):D, got here, marked and even your generation will not stop me from marking all over the supposedly yours territory :D:p. See ya later, I'm sensing a revenge here ;).

Hahaha were you there thursday night? There was enough water that you could a drunk a whole keg, I was watching the chuckwagon races with a lovely backdrop of lightening and when they were over commenced running through the calf deep abandoned grounds for the C-train. Sorry I didn't catch up to you I was caught up in the fun and forgot all other factors of life. But I had the best time, I also saw The Taming of the Shrew on Saturday night, which I thought was a fun production, I made my first contribution to canadian arts, by donating all my extraneous canadian change that I couldn't spend that night and could use in the states.

07-25-2004, 05:22 PM
which book are they talking about? I could check... but a feeling of monumental apathy has come over me as a sullen rain cloud becomes the destruction for hopes of all mankind. We are saying the things we never understand through inconsequential murmurings. Lost, without a voice, humanity is drifting like the wood which bears the same name, until something impedes its progress... people have no backbones anymore, they are pushed around by governments.......... if the bastards wont stand up for themselves, they deserve to be downtrodden.

I really liked the book Solaris, it´s almost like reading poetry. I have not seen any of the movies yet, but I´ve herad that the older one is better than the new one.

Oh - almost forgot. Got´ya mark, Simon .

Jay
07-26-2004, 02:31 PM
Agreed Fool, but I guess I'd be a part of the downtrodden ones though reasons may vary. Btw, what does 'downtread' stands for? ahem, understand the 'meaning' but not the word. Do I make any sense at all? lol

simon
07-26-2004, 08:06 PM
Fool, people never had backbones in the first place, and there are only a selective few who realize that they lack backbone, though this makes them more intelligent it doesn't give them backbone.

This mark is one riddled by the disgust for a civilization built without a backbone, it will inevitably collapse.

verybaddmom
07-26-2004, 08:12 PM
i regret to disagree with you simon, but i feel i must mark OVER your mark, as your was made in error. i am here to insist that some humans have a backbone, such as....hmmmm.....myself. i know i have a backbone, as in 1991 i broke it. (its really one of those things that you dont know you have till you mess it up) anyhow, i mark over your mark with one of bony hardness and spinal goodness

I think we need to start putting "marks" at the end of all of our posts, then we would be creating something like an invisible guy named Mark to whom everything is addressed. Then eventually our words would create a real person who comes after us for making him to listen to so much inane nonsense...

Yup, funny :p.

I think the Rammstein lyric is a wordgame. Hast means both Hate and have in the grammatical form used after "you" - I have - ich habe, you have - du hast.

So it can be seen as a sentence that alters it meaning, when it is completed. Here is an english translation I found:

You
you have (hate)
you have (hate) me*
(4 x)
you have asked me
you have asked me
you have asked me
and I have said nothing

Do you want, until death do you part,
to be faithful to her for all your days

No, no

Do you want, until death do you part,
to be faithful to her for all your days

No, no

Do you want until the death of the vagina, ( I think that this might be another another wordgame, but I´m not sure if I understand i correctly. I think this line might also mean - the death that parts)
to love her, even in bad times

No, no

Du
du hast
du hast "marked"

:-)

Simon says move left we all take a jump to obey the narccisistic commune of infusion. THere is a deep self depreciation of all things mental and the electrons inside our buzzing atoms are worse than atolls of bikini... um... wrong train of thought... peace train runs over superman tied to the tracks. there.

The Ramstein lyric, was kindof ment to be a play on words, I read about that in an article.

simon
10-02-2004, 02:59 PM
Hey jay, while your much missed return to marking contrubution is appricated it must certianly be apprehended, so with all due respect (how much can be given to a poster with a jumping white blob for a avatar?) I must drench this fire hydrant.

Jay
10-02-2004, 03:06 PM
hehehehehehehehehehe, jumping white blob? hehehehehehehehe

Who am I to add to this convoluted thread? I feel I need to add my no-sense-worth, just to be part of the "party", even though I haven't read the entire thread. My compliments, indeed, to people who have bothered to read the almost 700 responses. Myself, I'd rather read a good book.

Stanislaw
10-07-2004, 10:44 AM
Id ondt think any one has read them all, but congrats, heres one of those pointy party hats, now all we have to do is wait for the others, and yell suprise!

Jay
10-08-2004, 07:33 AM
HEY, I've read it all, lol. Hi Tabac, how do you feel after your first marking? ;) It's not that bad, is it? And it's fun most of the times (when lil' poor me understands what's being said, that is ;) )

*returns the hugs to Faye* oh yeah, you sure did :)

Stan? I'm game, I accept (not really sure what I'm agreeing to but I trust you, lol)

Hello Simon, still scared of that white bouncing blob? hehe, you crazy thing :D

simon
10-09-2004, 01:28 PM

*looks from your flag to mine...* Hey, we have really nice flags :D
*grins* :p

Jester
10-10-2004, 05:01 PM
*watches both flags from the distance*
*races off to mark yet more space as Jester's territory*
*Dances like a fool on the moon

Jay
10-10-2004, 05:07 PM
Well, rising a flag is one thing... but having you marking off all the territory? NO WAY!
*grabs a hose, chases Jester and washes all her marks, leaving own marks behind*

Jester
10-10-2004, 05:44 PM
Ha
Jay cannot keep up with the great Jester as I mark all my territory... mine, all mine... I'm very greedy, besides I am queen of this thread, for now anyway...

imthefoolonthehill
10-16-2004, 11:51 PM
the MARK of a good character developemnt into manhhood is the andy way of doing things. There once was an ant named andy and he did things he wasn't supposed to think about when the giant spiders came rushing from Frodo's ring with the nail being pushed through the fingernail and a movie that kills people destroys creativity in the box office.

Jester
10-17-2004, 02:37 AM
okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

kushi
10-17-2004, 02:39 AM
i did NOT leave a mark..it was an unintentional action and therefoooore...i...didnt leave a mark..hehehe
Jester CAN'T make me do what she wants me to do.
p.s it isn't against my principles to leave a mark..its just that the more you tell me, the more i won't do it :p tee hee hee

Jester
10-17-2004, 02:40 AM

kushi
10-17-2004, 02:42 AM
i merely gave you somethign that you wanted... so techinically i didn't leave a mark..i was being *nice* and *friendly* ;)
who agrees with me? (probably one one...cuz i left a reply on the mark thread huh huh huh!) uh yeah..im just kidding hehe :p

Jester
10-17-2004, 02:43 AM
no ones going to agree with you, because... your leaving your mark yet even if it was unintentional, but thanks for the hugs... :brow:

simon
10-17-2004, 04:02 AM

oooh...... hmmmm..... my laptop is sitting under a bookshelf and i keep thinking the book shelf is going to fall completly destroying it and crushing it to smitherines.... what if my hands are there when it happens, oh no.... fear, paranoia (spelling????)...

Mark is everywhere... Mark here, Mark there... Mark everywhere ;)

Btw, autumn's definitely the best season :)

Stanislaw
10-19-2004, 02:47 PM
Indeed. and a little paranoia is okay. Some built a career off being "Paranoid"... vague musical refrence...

Oh yes and mark the mark of someone who marks alot. need more water and then I will be right back...hehehe

imthefoolonthehill
10-19-2004, 10:42 PM
I this infer,
That many things, having full reference
To one consent, may work contrariously:
As many arrows, loosed several ways,
Come to one mark; as many ways meet in one town;

Jester
10-19-2004, 10:58 PM

simon
10-19-2004, 11:07 PM
To mark or not to mark is not the question at hand, the question is how to mark to the best advantage of myself and the least of my opponent.

Jester
10-20-2004, 09:35 PM
Opponent???? hmmm... anyway I'm going to let my buddy ( ) do the marking for me tonight.

imthefoolonthehill
10-20-2004, 09:54 PM
what i dont think you fully realized potential to screw up in this random action of the library of congress is thepointy baseball bat of the yankees that will hit a homerun to no avail, they'll all be hit by meteors.

Jester
10-20-2004, 11:45 PM
allll right.... what i wouldn't give for a meteor right now so i can just figure out what's going on... or to emerge in some distant plane and become something that can see everything and be everywhere... but then what about interaction...hmmmm (btw mark)

Dead Gardens

The story behind the painting I drew is already told
No more tearstains on the pages of my diary
Tired but unable to give up since I'm
Responsible for the lives I saved

The play is done
The curtain's down

All the tales are told
All the orchids gone
Lost in my own world
Now I care for dead gardens

My song is little worth anymore
Time to lay this weary pen aside

The play is done
The curtain's down

"Where are the wolves, the underwater moon
The elvenpath, the haven of youth
Lagoons of the starlit sea

Have I felt enough for one man's deed?
Or is it time to challenge the Ancient of Days
And let the virgin conceive"

All the tales are told
All the orchids gone
All the tales are told
All the orchids gone
Lost in my own world
Now I care for dead gardens

*edit* before someone asks, nope, haven't written it (I wish), it's a song I like, most likely you're to see more of those around ;). :yawnb:

lol, I'm not that much into metal, I'm into Nightwish kinda metal. And rock ... rocks ;):D. I am that kinda person that listens to anything and doesn't care what they call it as long as it's not tearing my ears off :p.

when it rains it certainly pours. Decisions precede more decisions, their rates escalating exponentially. Doors leed to hallways leed to deadends lead to backtracking leads to another door untill possibilities are exhausted and you are stuck in the same damn building.

The point of life isn't a sharpened pencil, it is more like a peice of charcoal, but you can still mark out your own story.

So? They might not have been meant cool, but they are. Is it my fault I like it? ;) Oh and believe me, I DO know it's word association football... it's not your first post in this thread :). Just recently, either I'm getting to understand it (you) or you're getting more understandable, whatever it is, me likes and don't care it was not supposed to be cool :p. I don't usually do things I'm supposed to anyway ;).
