The arrow points to the left, so i look and see my bed, unkempt, unmade and well used, beyond that is my single window, the shade drawn low, its night out, i don't want poeple to see that im here, alone, at the computer, but then its like i was never here at all, lost, staying indoors. Suddenly the arrow becomes a painful reminder that there is an outside world but I am too cold (it's winter in Idaho) and too lazy to venture out tonight, maybe tomorrow... or the day after... until then, the only evidence of my existence in the wide world will be an offering of hugs on this forum.

oh i had to cut off part of the painting in order for it to fit and look ok in the avatar, its another tree, the trunk of which is actually a yellowish brown and leaves orangy... at that time i didn't have too many colors.
