Mr. Hardross Courage is content with his charmed life. He is young, he is rich, and he has no cares but how to win at sporting games. After all, he is a typical English gentleman! Hardross' carefree life changes dramatically after his stay at the cosmopolitan Universal Hotel. A stranger, marked for death by secret agents, finds safety and protection in Hardross hotel room. Despite this singular incident, Hardross would have continued his old life if it were not for one cold, alas lovely, Miss Van Hoyt. Her mysterious role in the hotel incident and Hardross' new sense of discontent and duty throws him into the unknown world of political games, long seeded conspiracies, and espionage in which the questions of life and death, war and peace hang in uncertain balance.--Submitted by N. Moghadam.
