Ah, a birthday? This calls for a poem:

    Jerrybaldy,
    the inevitable,
    dispenser of
    advice
    master of
    shock
    lord of
    the LitNet realm
    (or,
    at the very least,
    a duke)
    we threaten to
    drown
    in his avatar
    one question remains:
    is he
    really
    truly
    bald?

Isn't EVERY day JerryB's birthday? I thought that was what "birthday" meant.

    Anyway, happy birthday, skipper.

Many happy returns, you old b----r -

I regret that a kissogram's out of the question
so make do with this in its place -
it may make you wince, or create indigestion,
but should put a smile on your face.

    Happy Birthday!

    An interview with Jerrybaldy:

*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
It must be an ego thing.

*Are you sure you want to do this?*
    Have I something to lose?

    *Who killed Roger Rabbit?*
I am still busy investigating who is rogering the rabbit.

*Whose footprints would you find in the fridge?*
The lady who is stored there.

    *So, how old are you?*
    46. I didnt begin at 40. They lied.

*If you had a personal theme song what would it be?*
    Shuddupa your face. Joe Dulce.

*Are you male or female? *
I have made the odd tent.

*What makes you keep coming back to the Forum?*
The hope of that killer poem.

*Are you happy with the way things are here?*
Yes. It has rules. Without which there would be nothing to throw stuff at.

*If you could change one thing about the LitNet, what would that be?*
Nothing. We get what we deserve.

*What was the inspiration for your LitNet username?*
My name is Jerry. I am bald. I found out a lady I work with referred to me as jerrybaldy as a pun on garibaldi. It never caught on but I use it as I like self depreciation.

*Which country are you from and which countries have you visited?*
England. I have visited places in Europe where the sun shines.

*How do you like your home town?*
    With chips.

*If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?*
Greece. Sunshine. Corruptiuon and the Ionian sea.

    *Do you have any pets?*
Daisy and Poppy. Rabbits. I have never rogered them.

    *What makes you happy?*
    Upsetting applecarts.

*Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism? *
As an agnostic, recovering catholic I have a whale of a time .

*Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?*
Somebody bald but impossibly good looking.

    Who is your favourite Beatle?
John. An early death is essential.

*How do you like your coffee? *
    In the form of tea.

*Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?*
    A rampant rabbit.

*What's the biggest fish you've ever caught?*
    Lorraine.

*What makes you feel great about yourself?*
    several drinks

*How did you meet your significant other?*
    On line

    *Who inspires you most?*
    Miles Hilton-Barber

*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
    Pushing boundaries.

*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
    Accept.

*If you had to teach something, what would you teach?*
How to forget what you have been taught.

*What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?*
    Ambition.

*If you were to be stuck at a particular time in your life, which one would you choose and why?*
I arrived on holiday on a Greek island with family a couple of years ago and having unpacked and destressed went for a beer by the pool and all my worries fell away and I cried in happiness.

*Do you get tired living life?*
    the alternative prevents this.

*Do you have a tasty recipe for life that you could share for a reasonable price? … Is it REALLY tasty?*
Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

*What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?*

    Happy Birthday!
"I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance. And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn: he was the spirit of gravity- through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter, do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!" - Nietzsche

oh Jerry, the good, the bad, and the gritty.

    *knock knock at Room 101*
sorry I didn't make the birthday bash, hope your B-day was wonderful.

If my memory serves me well, you got your killer poem. Then another....
But don't forget to take your muse out of the fridge, your next killer poem needs her!

Guess what, you totally rogered the interview!! *screwdriver*

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.

hahaha....loved your interview! Happy Birthday Jerrybaldy!!! My favorite quote is Lawrence's Self Pity as well - it used to be my page quote. My favorite painting is 'The Mermaid' by the great artist/illustrator Howard Pyle. It used to be my profile photo. Are you stealing these from me?...I guess you are off the hook....I had them when I first started on here - a number of years back.
