Hi Haunted! Glad to see you haunting our halls once again. I noticed you'd been gone awhile.

Eh, that contest is over now, but not to worry, there will probably be another one in a month or so. So, how are you?

He also installed a nice new vanity in the downstairs bathroom. I will post some photos soon for you to see. I still have my Christmas tree up, since I have thoroughly enjoyed it and last year I didn't decorate even one. It's a 6 12ft prelit artificial and I do love it. I also had the good fortune of having someone give me a white crystal adorned twig tree (bought from QVC) which I decorated all in white and crystal and a feather boa around the base. It's a small table tree and it was a hit.

I wish I had the money to install more of the Pergo but the dining room is real hardwood and polished turned out looking like new. The backroom and the room which was my mothers need carpeting, but that will have to wait...money is tight now.

Did you get a blizzard up there? It looked like it on TV. Well, take care and glad to hear from you. So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Tiger. It is a lovely poem and a heartfelt tribute.

Hi again, C! It was the best course of action to put my mother in the nursing home. The first one was not good (could write a book) but now she is settled in comfortably in the second one - a county fascilty not many years old. It is very clean and very well run there with lots of activities, etc. She is doing remarkably well and so I fell relieved now myself. She turned 90 last April.

The house improvements have kept me busy and it is fun...I always did love to decorate and I often think of your decor when I pick things out. The laminant floor my son also has on his first level and so I went with the Pergo when I went to pick it out. Actually my young painter layed the floor.

Christmas we so good - my son and wife and Brooke came over on Christmas Eve and it was super. I was so happy and went to their house next day for a brunch...something different this year. We all had a good time. Brooke is 4 1/2 now and oh so cute, really pretty with long hair and curls at the ends. She dances and is quite graceful I think. She takes ballet every Sat. I have a good life and am grateful for all and how things have turned out. It was rough going for a time but I weathered it ok; still need to be frugile but I will survive.
Hope all is well with you sweet girl. Hope to talk to you soon. I am trying to catch up with everyone this week.

Hey thought of you of late as well... still up to no good? haha. I am doing quite well. I came through a lot but I landed with my feet on the ground. I have been fixing the house up nicely. I got Pergo floors for my living room and love them. My mother is in the nursing home (second one) and doing so much better. She is settled well there and is satified with the arrangement. I am glad. She needs lots of care since she can't walk or use the bathroom. She is well cared for at this nursing home - it's a good place - thank God.

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
"Oh, yes, I do."
"In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.

movie Laura, les ombres de l'été

music le theme de Laura Patrick Juvet (movie soundtrack)

8/22 a note after reading some comments... I made this video in '07 and to date this may still remain the only digitalized form of the music available. Hope you'll enjoy it.

The beautiful music by Patrick Juvet from the movie soundtrack, with scenes from this dreamy art film.
