    Literature Network Reading Challenges

There are some on-going reading challenges on the Forum and
I thought it might be a good idea to keep a track of them here:

    BBC's Big Read Challenge

    Pulitzer Reading Challenge

Around the World in 80 Days

    Deadly Sins Reading Challenge

    Unfinisihed Books Challenge

    14 Spin-offs Challenge

    14 New Authors Challenge

    2014 Reading Log

If you start another challenge, please let me know so that I can update the list.

    Happy reading

This thread could sort of be a challenge. One could set a goal for one's self and see if they can reach it, which is what I'm doing.

I added mine to my blog "2012: Year of sin". I'm looking forward to it if anyone would like to join in.

I'll be done 12 re-reads by the end of Jan, x2 if you include graphic novels. For some reason, I re-read almost every book at least three or four times. It feels like if I don't I'll have lost it, it'll just get wiped out of my brain over the years.

I kept looking, forcing myself not to blink, and then the brightness began to dissolve. My pupils shrunk to pinholes and everything came into focus and for a moment I understood. The doctors didn't know if my eyes would ever heal."

Scher, do you want to include the 11 authors challenge?

Didn't include that one thinking most people are done with it.

    Shall I still?

Well, maybe not. I don't know. I thought a new group might be interested in doing it this year (a group which might include yours truly ).

That's a great idea, actually, Qimi... It is possible to complete it while taking part in other challenges as well.

    Here it is.

Since 2012 is coming to an end, I am starting to think about possible reading challenges for 2013.

I think I will continue with the new authors theme and aim for 13 this time!

Also, thinking about reading more books by those authors I have read only once.

    Any other ideas?

I think that I'll have to continue with the Deadly Sins challenge. I didn't find even a small amount of the time I wished to in the last year to spend reading. And here I thought finding time to read seven books would have been simple

I'm going to read 12 New Authors again (is there a thread for that yet?), and 2013 Women Challenge. It shall be a challenge! An enjoyable one, I think. I think the two lists are quite compatible, anyway.

Woot! Here's to reading in 2013!
