I really enjoyed this short novel. Liked some of his other stories it deals with feminist issues of over 100 years ago, financial struggles, age discrimination in employment, and evil human nature in a humorous yet sympathetic and very insightful way. It kept my interest straight through and I wished it was longer. I wouldn't call it "fluff"!
