High definition pioneer Pierre de Lespinois, executive producer for Talisman Crest Limited, estimates the company has saved over $3.8 million while producing the dramatic series The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne by shooting in Sony's HDCAM(R) format. These savings were realized in just under a year in production.
