WHAT: Friday's inaugural Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival's awards gala, followed by the premiere of "Explorers: From the Titanic to the Moon," featuring James Cameron and Buzz Aldrin at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

WHO: Honorees George Lucas, Harrison Ford and anthropologist Jane Goodall plus host Malcolm McDowell and James Cameron.

JULES RULES: Festival founder Jean-Christophe Jeauffre said Lucas and Ford "seem like characters who have stepped out of a Jules Verne novel." He went on to say that Ford embodies a movie hero "that I'm afraid does not exist ...
