MONTREAL, Quebec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1998--Paving the way for HDTV series production, Talisman Crest Limited has selected Sony's digital HDCAM(TM) camcorders to shoot the dramatic series, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne. The program will be the first recurring television series shot in a digital high definition format, and the purchase of four Sony HDW-700 HDCAM digital widescreen camcorders by the producers marks a major commitment to HDTV.
