LIPICA, Yugoslavia - When I read in Fodor's guide that one could ride Lipizzaners in northern Yugoslavia, I knew it would be hard for me, a horse owner and enthusiast, to resist going there. I scheduled my visit toward the end of my trip, and splurged on a good hotel room and fine food.
