ROSEMEAD - Far from an Upton Sinclair novel, the story of Minh Le's immigration to the United States three months ago is one of hopefulness and opportunity.
"I'm very happy," Le, 47, said last week, a grin splitting his face.
Le and his son, Tuan, 19, arrived here Sept. 26 from the Philippines, where they were stranded for 16 years as stateless refugees after fleeing Vietnam.
