There are many published letters of Jack London, but the ones that follow reveal much of his personality and beliefs in a special way. This exchange of previously unpublished letters took place between Jack London and my father, Stanford Hannah, then 14 years old. Following the death of his mother, Dad was placed in an orphanage and later adopted by an Illinois couple named Hannah. By his 14th year, he had established an impressive autograph collection, which included such names as Mark Twain and Buffalo Bill Cody.
