The Missouri Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting Friday, Nov. 30, to discuss issues related to Mark Twain Birthplace and Union Covered Bridge state historic sites, both in Monroe County. The meeting will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site in Florida, Mo. In addition, Mark Twain's 172nd birthday will be celebrated with free admission to the museum and refreshments from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
