The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Mark Twain National Forest - issued the following press release:
The special area closure of Federal lands on the Mark Twain National Forest associated with the Missouri Air National Guard F-15 jet crash that occurred Friday, November 2 has been expanded an additional two (2) square miles. The closure area is near the community of Boss, Missouri. This closure order now encompasses an 11 square mile area of Federal lands on the Salem Ranger District that is closed to all public use.
